A Troublesome Tenant

Mrs K of Warrington had an investment property with a troublesome tenant who owed her substantial rent arrears, which meant that Mrs K was not able to keep up her repayments on the loan she originally took to buy the property. To compound matters Mrs K lived near London and her bank were threatening to repossess the property. We stepped in and agreed to purchase the house for £95,000 even with the difficult tenant, relieving Mrs K of what had become a major headache many miles from home.

Wanted to Sell and Safeguard Existing Tenant

Mrs Dyson of Sutton had rented her previous home to the same tenant for the past nine years. Her husband’s business had gone into liquidation and various creditors were pressing for settlement of their guarantees. Mrs Dyson wanted her tenant to be able to remain in the property. We bought the property for £66,000 and also took over the tenancy releasing £25,000 for Mr & Mrs Dyson to pay off their creditors.
